Our Sustainability Policy

GREEN ISLAND

Avunduk Group is committed to contributing to the green transition of the island for future generations and reducing its carbon footprint. The group makes efforts in all operations to achieve this goal. By using solar panels in factories, the group obtains energy, meeting 65% of the production facility's energy needs from renewable sources. Additionally, the group manages waste sustainably by directing whey, a byproduct of cheese production, to recycling facilities, and by drying and reusing manure from large cattle on the farms. .

CONTRIBUTION TO THE ECOSYSTEM

The group conducts careful studies to make the farm a sustainable and environmentally friendly example. By sourcing milk from sustainable sources, an essential raw material, the group contributes to the island's ecosystem. Moreover, the Avunduk group has also initiated the process of replacing fuel-powered vehicles used in operations with hybrid and electric vehicles.

With these sustainability efforts, Avunduk Group is progressing towards becoming an environmentally friendly and sustainable business, taking responsibility for leaving a more livable island for future generations.
